Vacuum bag contents

The contents from the filter bags of three vacuums (A, B and C) at the Farrell Motors car dealership were emptied and examined.

From vacuum filter bag A (000524-40), no fingernails were found.

From vacuum filter bag B (000524-41), two fingernails were found.

From vacuum filter bag C (000524-42), six fingernails were found.

Chemical composition and ridge patterns of the fingernail polish enamel on the fingernails recovered at the crime scene (000524-15 through 000524-18) were compared with the fingernails recovered from the Farrell Motors vacuum filter bags.

Analysis Findings

• Fingernail polish enamel on fingernails recovered at the crime scene (000524-15 through 000524-18) is consistent with fingernail #3 found from vacuum filter bag C (000524-42) of the Farrell Motors car dealership.
